Firefighter/Paramedic Approved Clinicians:

Illinois Fire Fighter Peer Support (ILFFPS) understands and knows that sometimes we need to ask for help. We also know that asking for help is hard, which is why we want it to go well the first time.

In terms of meeting the needs of those requesting help we have a project underway to compile a list of  Firefighter/Paramedic “approved’ clinicians. This is a work in progress in which we hope to have a list of at least one therapist for every county in Illinois. These providers have been vetted by your Peers and as well as our Clinical Consultants. This list will be continually updated until we have our state covered.

If you happen to have or know a clinician that you feel would be a good fit, please feel free to refer them to ILFFPS Clinical Director Dr. Kristy McKiness at [email protected] so she can add them to the list.
